This past Sunday we had an awesome day as we dedicated Madelyn to the Lord. Our families, as well as Madelyn's godparents, were able to join us at church for the dedication and lunch afterwards. It was a beautiful day and a great chance for us as Madelyn's parents to stop and really think about the awesome blessing and responsibility we have been given. It also gave us a chance to ask our families, friends, and church family to help us as we raise Madelyn in a way that would be glorifying to God.

Our verse for Madelyn is Ephesians 3:17-19 "And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
We just really pray that she would know how much God loves her! We know that His love is perfect for her, even when ours is imperfect.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great day for everybody. I think Madelyn knows how much love is around her. We are all blessed she is in our lives (just wish I could be around her more often, but the pics are great!. Have a great Thanksgiving! Will look forward to more pics. Take care! Love Janice
